Plant cells under a microscope


Students used iphones and ipads in class to capture images they saw through a microscope of plant cells. Students isolated one cell and documented its parts on a lab drawing.

Dissecting a flower


Students dissected a flower and had to identify and label all the parts.  They later categorized the parts that were male and female.

Vascular celery?


While learning about the difference between vascular and nonvascular plants, students documented changes in their experiment through time lapse video, still pictures, and compared results over a 48 hour time span.
